The InSQL and InSQLPCo Data servers in MII are Query data servers only, so a request for data has to be initiated from MII to retrieve tag data. The InSQLPCo connector does not connect to PCo to make the connection.
PCo supports a Notification interface such that a PCo Agent Instance can subscribe to Tags from a Source and send send that Tag data to a Destination (i.e. MII) when a defined Notification trigger condition occurs.
It may be possible to do what you arer trying to achieve with the PCo OPC Source Agent. You should be able to connect the PCo OPC Source System Agent to any Wonderware IOServer using OPC DA 2.05a. then you can subscribe to the tags defined in the IO Server and use PCo Agent Instance Notifications to detect tag changes and push the related tag values to MII via the PCo MII Destination.
