Hi Experts,
We are in SAP MII 12.2 SP6. An external system (BizTalk) place the text file consists of Mat no, mat name, area etc. in Japanese language on the MII server (Path: E/dc_data). SAP MII also installed on the same drive (E drive).
We need to collect the data from file on drive and insert the data in the database. In SAP MII BLS we tried to
• Access the text file from E drive and read the contents of each line in the file,
• Collects the mat no, area, unit, mat name etc. which are in Japanese language in the tracer.
• We found that the language format is changed. Some garbage letters are coming after reading the file.
But if we place (copy) the same file in workbench manually , SAP MII reads the file and Japanese content without any problem. No change of format/letters.
Are there any settings that need to be done on the server or in SAP MII so that the format doesn’t change while reading the file contents from the drive? Any help is appreciated?
