SAP MII 15.0 - User String Resources - Language Support

Hello Experts,

I have gone through the SAP MII 15.0 component upgrade guide where I found that SAP MII 15.0 supports only 8 Languages listed as

1. English (EN)
2. German (DE)
3. Chinese (ZH)
4. Japanese (JA)
5. Portuguese (PT)
6. Spanish (ES)
7. French (FR)
8. Russian (RU)

They have to configured as in

<ConfDir>/Illuminator/Properties/UserStringResources_xx.properties

The information is not clarified since we can have language tags saved under

1) Localization (where already we were able to save only few language tags )

2) the Meta-Inf properties

Does this means that only for  the translation tags for these 8 languages can be saved under meta-inf ?
