Hi Swapna,
It looks like an issue we used to face while using a jquery cal control along with applets on the page. Applets do not work handy with html/jQuery controls. For this, we had marked our applet as invisible while loading the calendar control and making it visible on selection of date.
It would be helpful, if you can share the code base lying above and below the code you already shared.
Let's see what best we can do to solve the issue.
