set the file as Param of transaction

Hello All,

We have to send the  attachment from front end (Browse button is used) which triggers the transaction in back end and this attachment should be set as Param.1

The problem is how could a file be set as param.1

how could we encode or decode the file to get the string and set it as Param of transaction

and then this file is saved in the database

we don't want to save the file on server and then load it from there

Please any suggestions
